A stone’s throw from Camping Les Berges Du Doux, you will discover the Gorges du Doux with Le Vélorail.
Departure takes place at Boucieu le Roi station, a small village of character in the Vallée du Doux.
Different routes are possible from 8 to 20 km. You will take a seat in a 4 or 5-seater rail bike, on the historic tracks of the Chemin de Fer du Vivarais; and this, in a grandiose landscape. The ascent is carried out by railcar.
Without forgetting the Ardèche steam train, the “Mastrou”, a true historical heritage of the region. It allows you to meander and admire the narrow gorges of the Doux at 25km/h. Camping Les Berges du Doux is located approximately 20/30 minutes walk from Boucieu le Roi train station.
It is also approximately 4 km from the “Colombier le Vieux” station where the train stops for the “Train des Gorges” route. Western-style entertainment is organized at the station for this journey. Colombier station is also a place of relaxation with the developed banks allowing you to enjoy the “Le Doux” river.
